Priuschat shop more expensive than direct?

This is a great question. We got a naughty note from Weathertech early this year that we were priced below the minimum pricing guidelines and had to raise our pricing accordingly. Now it looks like they have lowered their own pricing. I'll have to check what our minimum pricing is now and change our prices.

At any rate, if you place an order before I update our pricing, I'll be sure to change the price to match the Weathertech.com prices before processing your order and charging your credit card.

 

Ah, now I see why they have them price their items the way they do. They want our advertised prices to include their shipping costs, which is really shady if you ask me and probably violates some FTC rules. So, I've reduced our prices to match their advertised prices.

That's correct, we are a reseller of Weathertech's products and get a distributor cost, then we get to keep the difference between the sale price and our distributor cost. All purchases through the PriusChat Shop go toward supporting the site.[/quote][/quote]
