I was sitting on the fence...decided after feeling the thinnest of the weathertech to go with the thicker and more affordable Husky Floor liner...win win.... Pardon the dust of my shoe...but a nice grippy feel....and a perfect fit. dang dirt on the rear seat....kids..main reason why I bought them...protect the floor... nice clean excellent fit.
I had the same dilemma and decided for the Huskis, this made the way to my Fusion Energi right a way; beside to be almost half the price of the next competition. As you said, a perfect fit and a great grip to the underlying carpet.
I noticed your floor liners don't utilize the floor clips. When I originally bought the same floor mats from autoanything they sent me the ones like yours. Two months later I found out husky makes two versions of our floor liners. One that uses the clips and the other that doesn't. The version which uses the clips fit much better and don't move around. I would suggest returning it for the updated version. If you can't return the, from the company you bought it from call husky directly and they'll send you the updated front set. That's what they did for me because autoanything wouldn't let me return my set.
hmmmm...they dont seem to move around..now because they are new..but in time with a lifetime warranty...I will try that....thanks!
The mat is an exact fit tray/tub. Where is it going to go? Mine sits on top of the clips--no big deal.
This was just an FYI. I thought you'd like the updated version of the mat. Guess not. You'll realize how much it moves in a couple weeks.
the only difference to me is the hole for the twist lock floor fastener to secure the mat... WeatherBeaterâ„¢ Floor Mats & Liners for All Weather Car & Truck Protection | Husky Liners hmmm...I sent Husky an email....update to follow.
I was so very close to ordering the husky's until I came across a weathertech set with OEM rubber cargo mat for $165 shipped. I couldn't pass it up.
My Huskies do scoot forward a few inches. Been wandering if I could cut a hole to let the clip thru. Anybody tried this or have another idea to stop the mat from creeping forward?
I got a birthday present from Husky Liners today...my new fitted now secure floor liners...they actually sent me a new set(front only)...So yeah..a lil patience and well worded email fixed this issue and for Husky Liners...I'm now going to be pushing my friends to get them...
I've had the Husky for 82,000 miles. They work great except one issue that I could of prevented. The One Problem: The little spikes on the bottom of the mats cut little holes in the Prius drivers foot rest next to the brake since it's plastic. Be sure to cut and sand down the spikes in the area where the mats touch plastic surfaces. Maybe around the edges if they touch console or door jams. I originally cut/clipped most of the tips off with electrical wire cutters. Leaving small nubs. I did it to keep from cutting my skin when I pulled them out to clean. The foot rest looks bad with a pattern of scrapped plastic holes if I remove the mats. That is not dirt you see. Live and learn. my2cents.
