This is more so for my own ease of mind, a single place to store all of my modifications/ findings in regards to my 2013 Prius. This may come in handy for others some day or will be a great tool when I decide to sell to upgrade to a newer Prius. My modifications will be geared toward practicality and comfort. No crazy stretched wheels or hella-flush camber here.

    The start:
2013 Toyota Prius II Nautical Blue Metallic with 59k miles in factory condition

Terrible pic but with the q45 I traded in:

    After window tint + visors:

Right off the bat there were a few things that I found to make our great Prius even better.

    Interior:
-OEM Rear Cargo Storage Organizer (PT924-47100)
    -WeatherTech Front & Rear Mats
    -OEM Rear Cargo Weather Mat
    -LED Bulbs for complete interior
    -Black Box G1W-CB Dash Cam
    -Road Guardian Mini-USB Hard-wire Kit

    Exterior:
-OPT7 55watt 5K Pure White HID kit with relay and anti-flicker capacitors
    -OEM Rear Bumper Protector (0016-47040)
    -LED Parking Bulbs
-Nokya 2500k Hyper Yellow High Beams (NOK7611)
    -Window Visors
-3M 20% Color Stable Window Tint

    Near future mods:
    -Fumoto F103s Oil Drain Kit
-GoldPlug Magnetic Drain Plug for transmission (AP-05)
    -Engine Block Heater

    Not so near future mods:
-Clazzio Leather Seat covers with heaters
-Tint strip on windshield or lightly tint the windshield (Our commute is driving into the sun both ways)

There's my list, will throw a few pics in there soon. Sorry if this is boring for others, more so a single place for me to keep track of mods for my Prius. All 3 of the future mods will be ordered soon and performed at 64k miles. At that time the car will receive an oil change and trans drain/fill. If anyone has any questions about any of the mods please ask I would like to contribute to this forum as I have learned so much from you guys already.

Currently ordering everything I would need to do an oil change and trans drain/fill. My job is behind a desk all day and during down time I tend to search for the best deal on parts:

    Oil Change:

-Mobil One 0w-20 Advanced Fuel Economy : $27.99 Shipped for a 6 quart box on Amazon

-Oem Toyota oil filters, housing O-rings and drain plugs x6: $23.42 Shipped from Ebay
Toyota Scion 6 New 04152 YZZA6 Oil Filters w Free Gaskets | eBay
-MotivX Tools oil filter housing wrench: $16.95 shipped from Amazon (Didn't want ebay junk for a tool I will be using)

-Fumoto F103S Drain Valve Kit: $40.90 shipped cheaper to order directly from their site
DIY Oil Drain Kit with F103S for 12mm-1.25 drain plug | FUMOTO

    Transmission Drain and fill:
    -Toyota ATF-WS x4: $36.76 Shipped from Amazon

-GoldPlug AP-05 magnetic drain plug: $18.99 Shipped from Amazon

-Craftsman 10MM Hex Bit Sock: $3.95 shipped from Ebay
Brand New Craftsman 3 8" Drive Dr 10mm Hex Bit Socket Metric 42679 | eBay

I have already have a drain pan and I have yet to decide if I want to do the funnel and tube or a transfer pump for filling the trans. Hopefully this list will help someone else planning on doing any DIY maintenance.

Hoping for good weather this Saturday morning! Very curious to see the trans fluid @62k miles and very certain it's never been touched.

Update from today's maintenance: current mileage 62k.

1st I am so happy to have found all of the correct numbers on this site for everything literally, so thanks guys. Today went pretty smooth total time was about 2 hours and as others have stated the most time consuming was removal and installation of the under tray.

Oil change, went smooth . Oil came out very clean which was expected since I was told by the dealer that they changed the oil before sell @59k miles current mileage is 62k. For peace of mind I wanted to go ahead and do it myself and honesty I'm glad I did. I will never know but I believe the oil filter might have gotten skipped on the last change, it was considerably darker than the color of the oil and even looked a little worn/frayed. Got the Fumoto valve installed with the lockout piece . I went with the short nipple version F103s. No clearance issues putting the tray back on seems to have about an inch or 2 of clearance. Went with the stuff as previously mentioned in this thread. OEM filter, Mobil one advanced fuel economy 0w-20 and the Fumoto valve.

Sorry for the poor iPhone quality I was trying to give an idea of how far below the pan it comes and really it's not much at all.

Now for the fun part the transmission drain/fill pretty obvious it has never been performed. 1st I found no metal particles and I took a pretty good sample, I'm hoping enough to send off for analysis. The color is DARK. But on the drain plug there were zero metal particles as pictured . The drain plug was replaced with a magnetic Gold Plug. Pretty excited to see the results on the next drain/fill, i am planning on performing at around 100k miles. Anyways here are some pics , again thanks for all of the correct part numbers it made my day a breeze.
