I am now the owner of a 2015 Prius two! It's Barcelona red with the grey interior. It is a big change from my Accord that I had for fifteen years. Still trying to figure out how everything works, and how to get the Prius to do what it does best. But, I already know that I made the right choice with this car. It's exactly what I was looking for. I've been lurking on prius chat for a few months now. The folks here have been a great source of information. Also like how you all are friendly and supportive of us seeking info and advice. Thanks.
This car continues to amaze me! The other night as I was walking to my car, I saw the dome lights on. My first reaction was how I must have left them on accidently. But the same thing happened the next night. So, on the third night, I walked very slowly to my car and was amazed to see the dome lights come on on their own!!! How cool is that? The features on this car for the dollar is just off the hook amazing!!
Congrats! You might want to check the "I wish the dealer had told me about...." Thread for useful info. I catch on slowly sometimes, but I didn't find out about the "hill auto-hold" brake thing until a year after I bought the car when I read about it here. And son of a gun , when I pressed the brake pedal all the way down on a hill and the little yellow light started flashing, the car would hold still while I lift d my foot off the brake and started pushing the gas pedal! Who knew! So hope you find all the neat tricks more quickly than I did! Cheers!
