Just got the CPO Prius Plug in 2012 almost 2 weeks. Entune software is giving someissues - keeps on searching for bluetooth or reading usb even when bluetooth is turned on or usb is plugged in. At times works fine. I think it needs to be updated. How do i update my 2012 CPO prius plug in software. Please let me know how to update to the latest version. My phone works well with my other vehicles and connects to blue tooth with no issues. usb is also fine works well with other vehicles.

Be aware that there are several different related software packages. 1) The core system software, such as as Bluetooth drivers. 2) The Entune applications. iHeartRadio, Pandora, and the like. 3) The map data. Dealer update only. I had thought that the system software was only updateable by the dealer, but the above Toyota web site suggests that this download includes both the system software and the Entune apps.
Those are very good points! The last system update for the Prius Plug-in Base can be applied by the user via USB flash drive. The last system update for the Prius Plug-in Advanced (version 1.3.300035) is applied over-the-air via the Entune smartphone App. Bluetooth, Gracenote & Maps require a payment through the dealer.
