Highlander Hybrid seen with CA HOV stickers

I also have two sets... I applied for one set for Sparky, and then a week later he was sandwiched between two SUVs on the freeway and eventually totalled. The stickers showed up a month or two later... About 4 months after that I got Ruby, and applied for a set of stickers for her since the stickers are numbered, and the certificate has license plate and VIN info. I must have checked the stickers a dozen times to make sure I had the correct set before I put them on.

I have witnessed a Honda Accord Hybrid with the yellow stickers soaring past everyone in the HOV lane...I'm affraid if so much abuse is happening.. we will loose the privelage.

Heh, heh. My 2004 HCH with the 5spd manual had NO hybrid markings on it at all! In fact, I argued with the dealer until he opened the hood and proved that it was a hybrid.

There may be other 'stealth' HCHs out there, who knows? I only know that I had one with NO hybrid, or even Civic markings.

Ya, the stickers are the wrong place. Otherwise, perfectly legit.

 

for what it's worth, I saw a HH in Walnut, CA with a set of HOV stickers on them. It wasn't on the freeway, just on the streets. I thought originally that he also has a prius and simply applied for a replacement set for his HH. do not know for sure tho.

If you pull your stickers off, the sticky part remains and it is embossed with "Void" all over it. He removed the stickers but didn't get around to cleaning up the mess yet.

 

actually, you havent seen EVERYTHING yet...wait til you see the new 07 Lexus 600h with HOV stickers !
