Went on a small day trip

    Left Chattanooga this morning and went leaf watching on the Cherohala Skyway. Car performed very well and we are still on our first tank of gas. Can't decide on a good name for the car, so I decided Whitey will have to do until something else strikes us. The old church in the picture was built in 1899 and is on the banks of the Hiwassee River in Reliance, TN. I haven't been on the Skyway in a car for a few years, I usually ride it 2-3 times a month on the bike.

    My father's nick name was Whitey. Great name IMO.

    No, I live about 10 minutes from the W road. We drove out about 90 miles from home running all the back roads I usually take on the bike.
