This is probably a good place to mention a nifty little capability that the Prius C cruise control has of which some people may not be aware. If the cruise control is "set" and the car is maintaining a particular speed, you can increase or decrease the set speed by giving the cruise control lever a little bump "up" or "down". "Up" increases the set speed by 1km/hr (mine is a Canadian car, I imagine it's 1mph in an American one), while "Down" decreases the speed by 1km/hr. I discovered this while reading the manual, and I now find myself using it quite a lot. In fact I've come to find it annoying that my other vehicle's cruise control can't do this.
Many cars can do this, but some work in 5mph increments rather than 1mph. My 1994 Camry has the SAME EXACT cruise control setup as my 2013 Prius C. The physical stick seems interchangeable. You can Hold the stick up or down, and the car will maintain the speed where you let it go. The Prius C will actually decelerate using extra regenerative braking while doing this. The cruise control has a lot more control authority because of this.
Sean, heck, my 15 year old Jeep Cherokee can do this, but has +- buttons on the steering wheel instead of the lever (I miss the thumb buttons).
