Just wondering if Toyota cars are not delivered with a nylon or vinyl pouch or folder for the owner's manual and all those other cards/pamplets and things. We were given these items in a paper manilla mailing pouch. Even my base model Golf came with a nice nylon logo pouch for the owner's information and manual.

Mine came with a white vinyl pouch. As you can see by this thread, people have gotten different types. I ended up ordering the pouch mentioned which works fine.
Cheap plastic pouch covered in dealer advertising. Yuch! Where did you say you get the leather pouch again? <_<
Nda - Mine is the same as yours. Manilla envelope that the manufacturer shipped everything in, but mine has two business cards of two people that I never met taped on it right under the bar code that lists the VIN # and color. Very classsy, huh? You would think that since you paid sticker (or more in some cases) that you would get a nice faux leather organizer, at the very least!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Nda3rdCar @ May 1 2006, 05:48 PM) </div> Mine is a nice leather zipper-pouch. I was actually impressed with it. It's disappointing to see that some people are getting something of less quality. You would think it would be more cost effective to produce every one the same way.
Mine came with the leather-like zippered cover with the Toyota logo. Holds the manual and most all the other stuff I got. Pretty classy. I guess the dealer decides on that?
Let me add my two cents worth to those who received a nice leather Toyota labeled zip folder for my owners manual and other important documents. It even has some plastic sleeves including one for business cards. Included were the cards of my salesperson, the business manager, the service manager and the parts manager. I don't think the cards are tacky at all. Now I know exactly who to call with any questions. I am very pleased not only with the car but with everything surrounding the purchase.

Cheap plastic pouch with advertising from Piercy Toytota, but at least it came with all required details, including valet cards, nav guide, and user guide.
Mine is the leather (or pseudo leather, I didn't really look that closely) with the Toyota logo on it, but does not zipper. It just closes like a book cover and has some plastic sleeves in it. It barely closes around the umpteen books they stuffed into it (owners manual, nav owners manual, lemon law book, maintenance book, tire warranty, etc.). The whole thing was stuffed into a manilla envelope, so I guess I got BOTH! Mine is the leather (or pseudo leather, I didn't really look that closely) with the Toyota logo on it, but does not zipper.
