This is my first post, so if I did this incorrectly, please help. I have a 2007 Prius which now has 164,000 miles on it. Never had ANY issues. Just this past week, I was riding with my husband driving, and when he downshifts into "B" gear and turns to the left, the triangle of death flashes on the screen, a loud beeping occurs, and on the top of the main info screen the word "Problem" appears. Anybody got any faint ideas? I want to make an appointment to take it to my dealer, but they aren't too sharp and might tell me I'm nuts. I'm not.
There have been reports of oil levels being very low causing the red triangle to light when negotiating a turn or sharp curve. If you find the oil level to be normal, then the next thing to do would be to pull the codes.
