I'm still loving my 2005 Prius with 213,500 miles. I was thinking about getting a new one, but I've decided to stay with mine as it is still running strong. I want to install a backup camera, and I just bought a Yada at Costco for $99.00. The instructions tell me to determine the reverse light power wires for the car, designating the positive and negative wires. I have check the wires and there are 5 going into the taillight. They are white, brown, green, blue and red. Do you know which ones are positive and negative?
I don't know off-hand, but find the wires that go to the reverse light bulb in the housing (2nd from the bottom). The wire color that also goes to the other bulbs is the neg. The wire that only goes to that reverse light bulb is the +.
