"Ready" on dashboard

    I noticed on the way home the "ready" light was on the whole time. I've never noticed it staying on before but maybe just didn't pay attention to it. Is it supposed to be on continuously? What exactly is it for?

    Lets you know that the car is ready and yes it stays Everyday you should be looking at that to make sure that the car is acting normaf you do not see the ready light hopefully you can either make it to your mechanic or better yet but Toyota dealership

    The next thing you'll probably notice is the red flashing light whenever the car is off.

    Most any other car you "Start". The Prius you make "Ready".
