HIDs for my 2011 Prius

You're comparing two different upgrade routes. If you have the time and skills to do the retrofit to the HID projectors, then that is definitely the way to go.

Good, solid warranty, dual relay HID harness, better bulbs (IMO). Many members here have this and highly recommend it.

 

I did the retro-quik kit on my Prius and I love it. It actually is not as hard as you think to get everything installed and the hardest part might have been trying to figure out where to place the ballasts and wires and such. Output is a million times better, but you have to make sure that you are properly aimed because these things are bright. I especially love the colorful cutoff that these things give off.

 

I'm interested in the retro-quik kit. Anyone know of a place to get this installed in the Washington DC area? I don't have the time or patience for this type of work, but love this kit!

 

What is a retrofit quick kit?

I'm going with the $36 Beamtechs h11 led bulbs, listed in another thread recently Plug in play, no wires to hide. Hoping it's a big improvement over the stock halogens

 

I did the same thing about 6 months ago. cut off line is cleaner than HID.
