I just want to make sure. Is this the front sensor ? The one at the manifold ? Toyota part 89467-28090
A couple of quick Google searches and it looks right to me. Even appears to be the most up to date part number. Out of curiosity, what dtc did you get?
P2A00 is for the Air Fuel Ratio Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) and can be: - Air Fuel Ratio Sensor - Air Fuel Ratio sensor heater - EGR valve assembly - ECM This sensor is the front sensor and closest to the manifold. The Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2) is downstream of the catalytic converter.
Hi kensiko, Can you update the result? How you reach the oxygen sensor in order to replace it? From top or from bottom? What kind of tool you use? I just got my 3rd Gen Prius and it's complete new for me. Your help is appreciated. TL
Reach from bottom. Sensor was replaced a month ago and the check engine did not lit on again. It's a tool line this one. My father bought it but it didn't work, he used another one because it was too big I think, I'll need to confirm NEW CAR Oxygen Sensor Lambda Removal Fitting Sockets 22mm 7 8" Wrench 2pc SET | eBay
