My wife got Prius v-three with a set of Halogen projector headlights. Has anyone tried LED bulbs in the Halogen projector lights? I have installed HID in my Nissan Murano with Halogen projector headlights and it was very successful. No weird glare and the cut off line is very good. Never tried LED and it seems to be better than HID for its longevity. Your feedback is much appreciated.
LEDs for use as driving bulbs are not ready for prime time, they simply aren't bright enough irregardless of what they say their lumens and such are. If you don't want the halogens that it came with, go with HIDs, there are numerous threads on here about it from people who have done it.
