I haven't been down south of Anchorage in over a year, so I cruised down toward Turnagain Arm. Part of my motivation was boredom, part was looking for PriusChat-calendar-quality pics, and the rest was exhausting the remaining couple gallons of gas that had been in my tank since March 30th. Weather was about 50 degrees F and no wind--rare for this part of the state. After almost exactly 400 miles I ticked in at 49.49 MPG. Hooray for the oncoming summer!

Thanks, Boxster. PC needed those. The first one is a knockout (with the mountains in the background---but not the taillight one). You should have shot a Hummer by the oil derrick, though. First figuratively, then literally. :lol: It's legal to shoot vehicles in Alaska, isn't it?
