    Hi All,

I know this is supposed to be a very good tire. However, I am not able to find it in the P195/65R15 size which is the standard size for a Prius, not at Costco and not at Walmart. Ebay has a few for very high prices. Are you guys installing the P185/65R15 86T size instead?

    Thanks

    Chris

I wouldn't go to that extreme. If something is so hard to find, then for various reasons: I'd look at the alternatives.

Try the dealer and see what they say. My local dealer is actually very good on tire prices. At least see what they recommend.

I had to order mine from Sam's in the P195/65R15. Very good tire for the Prius.

I got mine from Discount Tire just a few months ago when I bought the car. No, they were not stock but it was only a matter of 2 to 3 days. They placed the order and called me when they came in and mounted them the same day. I see a lot of post about this particular tire and the fact that its not in stock. 9 times out of 10 it is not. That doesn't mean it's not available. They just have to order from the closest warehouse. I guess there's just not a lot of demand for the particular tire so it's not in stock ready to mount the same day but usually you can get your hands on these tires within a few days. And just my experience with the tires the last few months, well worth a short wait if you need to have them ordered. Great tires.

I try to stick with readily available, just in case we were to get an unrepairable flat, have to change one tire.
