hey-i bumped the front of my car into someone's hitch (hate those thing) and it will cost me 300 to repair (and that's not of course by replacing the entire front bumper, which is what the more fancy places want to do). Once the repair is done, i want to get something for the front of the car so i won't "bump" cars accidentally. I think the BumpShox would work--does anyone have this?
If you google Bumpshox Prius you'll find several photos of Prius with this product installed. So it evidently happens. I don't have any idea how effective of a product it may or may not be.
Or you can just not bump cars. haha. You'll still "bump" them accidentally and you still might mar the finish of a nice new BMW or other car with a glossy finish on the bumper. You'll drive off not thinking you've done any damage when in reality you scuffed the clearcoat or cracked the paint of an innocent person's car. This may mean you might be more "Wreckless" and just bump into things thinking it'll be "fine"
I have one on my 2013 Prius. I bought it when I was living in NY. I know how to park, but some people can't. It has saved my front bumper from scratches. How do I know? The slight impressions in the bumpshox.
