yesterday I put my car in the Stancenation Nisei Showoff . Twas a verrry hot day. Think I shreded some fat, though. So that's good.

I "helped" with this Modelista emblem installation at the mod party last week!

 

I have the recaro sport, top line with heating and airmatic cooling also and full power tilt, seat back recline and power height. Adjustable lumber as well - was 1350, in black vinyl with suede inserts with white recaro lettering.

Sliders were 150, and flat base seat mount 140. I am going to modify the seat mount slightly as there is too much angle at the flat position - design error on planted tree technologies, not recaro. Seat is amazing I no longer have random pain

I liked the increased airflow so much the first time I did this two months ago, that I decided to do this mod again. Stone caught the very edge of the windshield and sent a spider across it. 20+ years of driving never had to replace a windshield, now two in two months.



Something you guys may already know but was new to me, I discovered by chance that the dash gauges (speedometer etc) is actually projected. I had my sunglasses slide up front and it blocked out the speedometer display while laying flat. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on. The picture isn't the best but you can see where it the speedometer was dimmed at the top of the number, in person it looked blacked out. Learn something new every day.

 

I discovered that when I tossed a paper up there.

Put the stock wheels and covers back on since I had to return the Yoshihara Rims due to some paint chipping near the centering hub. I'm currently looking for new wheels lol.

And lastly...My personalized plate from DMV arrived. My original "RAMTART" plate off my CRX was not available even though I kept the plates after donating the car 8 years ago. "RAMTAR7" will do. Gotta love pager code (7 = T) Hehe.

I don't think so, but recaro makes all sorts of seats. I'm 5,9 165 and even then it's pretty snug. I was debating between the specialist m (with m being their larger seat bottom models), but went with the sport toplinr because I wanted power seats along with heat and cooling

Got the Valentis installed last night. I wanted red tails when I first got the car but the smoked matches so well with the WGM paint. If I knew how much of a pain those lower mounting clips were to remove from the OEM tails I would've just ordered new ones. I burned through all of my after-work sunlight trying to remove those damn clips and luckily didn't break anything. Had to put the car back together in the dark with a small LED flashlight in my mouth. Made sure the brake lights worked before leaving home this morning and got to admire it for a bit before walking into the office.




I didn't put the right-side light and bumper in correctly though since I couldn't see. Gotta tear out that side again and fix the gap.

 

Got a chance to install my door handle cover. If you order that. Remove the double sided tape. Re-tape it with 3M so it cover all side. Otherwise you see it sticking out in the front. Get the two tone look. I really like it vs the full door handle cover. It look really nice on the Prius Plugin matching with the two tone charger cap.
