Hi everyone! I was in the market for a small commuter car because of the amount of miles I drive daily (25,000-30,000 per year). I have been reading different threads from this forum to get actual owner's opinions and experiences. So with confidence I went ahead and purchased a new 2015 Toyota Prius C Two (Magnetic Gray Metallic). I was driving a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek XV which was an great car but I needed more MPG's. My first hybrid car and so far I like it.
Welcome. Loving that color and the nice tint job too!! Just wondering, what kind of mpg were you getting with the Crosstrek? How are you making out now with your c mpg wise?
I owned 4 Subaru's back to back. 2008 forester, 2008, outback, 2011 legacy 3.6r, 2011 forester XT. Crap mpg on all the above (V-8 like crap mpg) but they were amazing in the crappy weather...
Thanks!! Nice name! That is interesting. I love Subaru's for their versatility. We did have two Subaru's. Traded in the Crosstrek but we still have the trusty Outback. I do love the MPG's from the Prius
Nice! You will like the MPG's. What is important now is to learn how the car operates and how to drive it most efficiently. Or not... You will still get great gas mileage but, it will drop when winter comes though. Houston shouldn't be too bad. The C loves warm weather.
Yes! For some reason in this car I dont feel the need to rush anywhere. I just want to get the best mpg's I can on a daily basis lol! Thanks you! Thanks!
