I have a 2012 Prius hatchback. For the last 3 years the satellite works just fine however for some reason about a month ago it just stopped finding a signal? The FM and AM radio load just fine (even though the signal typically stinks) but when I go to a Sirius channel it just says "loading" and I never get a signal. I called Sirius they did all kinds of test signals over the air but could not find an issue. They told me I should go to the dealer, the problem is the dealer wants to charge me like $150 just to look at my car, and if they find something I am out of warranty so I would be out of pocket on that too. I want to exhaust all efforts before I resort to paying for service. Any ideas or anyone else have this issue? Thanks.
I don't know if this is related or not but I had a similar problem with USB and Bluetooth connecting to music. I dropped Sirius about a year ago but when I tried to play any music from USB stick or Bluetooth from my phone, all I got was "Loading" with no results. The CD player, maps, and AM/FM radio, Phone, etc. worked just fine. I took it to the dealer and they did a firmware update to the Display unit ( from ver 2.2.0 to 3.2.0 ). The Bulletin is T-SB-0051-13 so you may want to ask your service guy at the dealership if it will help. It should be free since it's a Service Bulletin. Good luck
Jeffkrum did you ever resolve this? I just put my satellite on hold cause it has not worked right for months and now not at all. I have an extended warranty though that I hope is still valid.
