Looks to me that the plastic Hood Deflector/Bug Shield for our Prius v wagon is ONLY available from JuicedHybrids.com or as an OEM Toyota Canada accessory. They look like the same product by the pictures. ALL of the ones on Ebay DO NOT FIT the v wagon, as I have checked with AVS on all the various numbers listed on Ebay. Has anyone installed one of these Juiced Hybrid or Toyota Canada items? It looks like it would have to be almost vertical,l facing front of car from looking at the pics, but not sure, there is not a lot of room for mounting there. That wouldn't be very aerodynamic! I would like to see better pics when installed, if anyone has one of these on a v.
I will NEVER use a vinyl/cloth hood protector again. It scuffed the clear coat on my '95 Maxima so I threw it away. Now my wife and I have clear 3M laminate on our hoods and front end of both my Prius v and her Hyundai Elantra Limited. The cost in Las Vegas was $650. for a professional installation. Well worth the money, looks "invisible" and will not damage the paint.
2015 Prius v (Canadian Luxury model) Toyota bug deflector. FYI installation "instructions" are very poor.
Excellent, just what I was looking for. I do have a copy of the instructions, which prompted me to see it to understand. Actually looks pretty good. And I like the new 2015 design, too. Nice wheels. Thanks very much!
