I am attempting to use a 2013 prius plug in battery pack and charger in an EV conversion and i need a wiring diagram for the charger charge controller and battery pack. unfortunately i do not have the wiring loom can someone on here to do a trace for me of the various wires? im hoping that the BMS charger and charge controller can be used stand alone without the ecu at the front of the car. anyone want to see a strip down of the battery pack or charger modules?
welcome! toyotatechnicalinfo.com. where did you get a battery, from a wreck? yes, we want to see everything youre willing to show us, and progress reports of your project! all the best!
Thanks yes it was from a wreck, unfortunately i ran out of money after buying the charger and battery and couldn't afford the loom which would have been extremely useful indeed, please see my thread on diy electric car forum the link to the pictures is there at the end, i cant post links here as i am new
there has been some discussion here of the cost of a new vs wrecked battery. i don't think anyone else has purchased one yet.
Ive made some progress on mapping out the wiring of the BMS, current sensors pre charge relays and contactors, i have also found what seems to be the +12v input for the BMS and common high for the contactors and pre charge relays.
I'm not sure if this has the info you'll need, but there's a pip specific FSM on an unnamed IT (as in .(dot) IT) site that also has other Toyota FSMs. Feel free to PM if you need more specifics.
