Fuel tank/bladder replacement?

    Anyone replace the fuel tank/bladder? How difficult is it? My buddies 2005 needs a new tank and the dealer is quoting $800. We can get a whole new tank/bladder assembly for $470. My Bentley manual does not have the information.

    The baffles in his bladder have deteriorated and the bladder won't fill some times because it's collapsed. Salvage unit not worth it to him.

    Price is not too bad. All I got is Bentley too. We have not had too many posts for bladder replacement. There's been some lots of discussion about getting rid of bladder going to fixed, but that discussion never gets too far due to complexity of the equipment inside of the tank. EU had fixed tanks in Gen2.
    Has he tried the upside down pump handle trick yet?
