Decided to keep for my daughter.

The Prius that won't quit. I bought this as the second owner at 98k. Now has 370k miles on it. I had Avi's Advanced Automotive put a brand new traction battery from Toyota it it at 286k, so about 84k miles ago.

It runs and drives fine, with no check engine lights, etc. Has 4 good matching tires. Needs new shocks/struts. Paint is very faded and front windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. Never been in an accident, other than a very minor bump in a parking lot, which pushed in the rear plastic bumper cover, but I was able to push it back out from the inside.

Edit: the AC works, the electric door locks, not so much.

The only issues I have ever had with this car were replacing the inverter coolant pump (twice) and replacing the passenger-side axleshaft assembly. Other than that, it has only needed engine oil, a couple of changes to the transaxle fluid, a couple of front brake jobs, and several sets of tires.

    $1500 obo.

    Thanks,

I'm pretty sure the new Gen 1 batteries from Toyota contain Gen 1 cells.

All it would take is one-way airfare and 3 long days of driving!! We did 5k miles family road trip in this car last summer.

Let's see if someone local is interested. Maybe we'll meet in Kansas or something.

If I didn't own a Prius already...and only really need one vehicle at a time, I think a Gen 1 Prius is "cool" vehicle to own.

Whenever I see one in a parking lot, I go "What is that?" followed by...Oh it's a Prius...cool....
