Replaced the stock tweeter speaker on the dash with JL evolution 3.5 inch speakers. Glad it did fit without cutting the cover except for 1 clip. I have to reverse the screw holder to accomodate the length the screws are too short. I screw just one side then screw the other side just to hold the edge of the speakers. I did not remove the speaker ring so when you screw in it uses as protection to the cone edge. And here's the stock cardboard speakers remove from the dash panel. This is the right side cover. JL speakers installed in front and rear. Android headunit installed. Rewiring the speakers without splicing the stock harness. I used the female harness the came with the unit. Amplifier installed. Here is the subwoofer install. I love the JL amp. I will be replacing my pioneer soon when I have time. The subwoofer take so much space in the trunk but I will be looking for a smaller box. The 12 inch JL audio subwoofer is just right.
The sound is great! Way better than stock. Just installed the JL subwoofer and amp. Will post here when I have time. But I need to rewire everything since my setup needs reorganization. I would like to do just like this
