My 325i when stuff went wrong and I get that blank look from the dealer I was ready to part my ways with the car. In fact I traded it in for a Prius. The BMW was a problem from day one. Always something. I can understand the guys passion to make a statement and rake a sledge hammer to a lemon. I just thought about it he did it.
I had mine (prior car not a BMW though) destroyed for me by a hit and run drunk driver. Lucky to be alive and have a Prius now.
Is it like the Peugeot ad where an Indian uses a brick wall, an elephant and some ordinary gardening equipment to reshape his car into a 306 look-a-like? Because I'd do anything to change the shape of an M6 if I had one.
I had a 1960 Opel Rekord back in the late sixties. Actually it was my older brother's car. I love it bad brakes, body cancer and all. For some reason we sold it to a friend named Bernie. He tried to put a small block chevy engine in it--twas more than he was capable of, but that's how you learn. He ended up smashing all the windows and driving it into a ravine. Hated Bernie for a long time after that. It was such a funky car!
