No offense. Because I'll admit upfront I'm just too old to get it. But I don't get the lowering of vehicles. When I look at that. My first reaction is that the suspension is broken and something is wrong. Besides that? It's looks ok.
Lowering the car keeps the center of gravity as close to the ground as possible. Combined with a good stiff set of sway bars and springs can give you stiff, flat, cornering which can significantly improve your confidence level when you're making maneuvers a high speed. But I think this has become a style that people are doing for the look. For my case, I want flat cornering. But I also want to strike a balance that allows the car to traverse ordinary obstacles, like steep driveways and speed bumps. That's why I chose to go with only a moderate drop of 1" to 2".
I am also guilty of screenshotting Prius ideas I like! haha. On instagram, I try searching for #zvw30 or #プリウ Otherwise searching #prius for some reason, you get 40-50% prius-hate-memes. But its been better lately. Mainly new owners.
