I will say right now - "the struggle is real" - and you KNOW what I am talking about. Especially if you have ever lost anything between your Prius seat and the console while driving! My friend, who no doubt I have decided is either an Angel or God herself... bought me these for my 2012 Prius about a month ago: I am talking about the unfortunate moment your cell phone, keys, wallet, pen, ANYthing slides between the seat and the console. What a humbling moment, especially if you have guests in the car. You basically have to pull over, or wait until you arrive at your destination, and put the seat all the way forward, to find your lost item (Murphys Law) at the lowest spot, where it is completely unreachable!!! I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me, and I think my friend could see my frustrations, haha. Im sure she bought them just so I would stop yelling 4-lettered words every time this happened to me. Some words, that not only would get your mouth washed out with soap by your Mother, but words that would make your Father BLUSH! Anyways, just sharing. Those little catch caddy things are the solution to all my problems. Now, after installing them, everything in my life is better They really work and are BY FAR the best "mod" I have done to my Prius, lol.
pretty sweet! there have been a few threads here where people lost their fobs down there and looked several times, but couldn't see them. they had to be persuaded to get down there with their fingers and feel around. i've dropped pens, food, money, you name it. MERGED reading the reviews, people say they slip down out of site. i suppose it depends on the car, how are they in the prius?
I also see no image of whatever product is supposedly under discussion, even when telling my preferred browser to display all the many hitchhiker domains that are normally blocked. But viewing this page in my most disliked browser, which doesn't allow the controls I demand, an image from an unknown source does appear.
It's a "Catch Caddy." With my luck, the item I drop would find a way to fall into the gap it doesn't cover. I've not had an issue. Anything I've dropped ends up UNDER my seat.
I don't know. The "Catch Caddy" seems just like the type of product that admits to the feeble encroachments of approaching old age. If I can't deal with dropping things down the side of my seat and/or retrieving them? Then I'm just a few feeble shuffled steps from putting tennis balls on the bottom of my walker so I can slide to the nursing home buffet with better ease to get one of the last cherry jello's. Even if I need the product, my hopeless fight against time and age demands I never purchase it.
I like these ones I installed. It works the same way and it adjusts along with the seat without it uninstalling itself. It's also not as bulky as the catch caddy. Gap fillers!
