perhaps you need an All Season tire where you live.

Michelin Energy Saver A/S is one alternative.

Never heard of a "michelin energy max"

    EP20?

Seriously, they're not bad, hard to beat for mpg, not bad for road feel, decent wear.

I've heard many good things about Michelin energy saver and I am going to try when my tires go bad.

Going nuts in Phoenix, AZ trying to find the right tires for my 2008 Prius. I went through this when I had to replace my tires back in 2010 and ended up with Bridgestone EP100's to get back to 60 mpg. Now here I am again with Discount Tire going back and forth with trying out tires. Last research said Bridgestone EP422…and I am still at 42 mpg. Help! Can someone tell me the right tire. Discount Tire is no help and they are not up on the LRR and hybrids….I told them if i wanted a smooth ride I would buy a cadillac….I want my MPG back. Suggestions

Not quite understanding: did you go from original tires, to EP100's (with 60 mpg), and then to EP422 (with 42 mpg)?

yes, sorry to make it confusing….I was doing fine with the Bridgestone EP100's and then they wore out so had to replace them. I have been back 3 times to trade out tires….still not getting back to 60 mpg, even with Bridgestone EP422. So, sitting at 42 mpg…

I have Bridgestone Ecopia E422 tires. They are wearing real well. I have 90,000 on them and will probobly get 100,000. But I started getting road noise the last 10,000. Anybody else have this issue?

I would go with the EP422+ deal, much quieter and more comfort compared to energy saver A/S based on my personal experience

The Bridgestone Ecopia 422 is not the right tire…still only getting 44 to 46 mpg. Toyota dealership recommended Goodyear Integrity….anyone have these and getting 60 mpg with them….

Weird, my car must be broken since I have reached 60+ MPG many times with EP422+
Dealer basically recommend whatever they have in stock and/or has most profit, since tires are not designed/made by Toyota
    Good luck
