Yeah I installed it at the top of the window. I had it behind the radio on a flat metal piece at first (to the left and right of radio in the dash) and it worked perfectly fine there, but i just moved it to the traditional spot.

They probably had to drive it over ramps and uneven deck plates to get it on the ship.

They should warn car owners about that sort of thing. You could have taken it off and stashed it in the back for the trip.

Tell me more on the dash cam. I can't find ANY that will hold up to being in direct sunlight all day. If it can't handle the heat, why bother?

I had my first issue with the dashcam today because of heat. Became choppy until I had the AC running for a few minutes. Im h going to try to find a solution with a tiny micro fan or a shield of some sort. Ill report back.

I am extremely interested in this install! Where'd you get the Mirror and also, where did you tap into the wiring?

Not a big mod. Make the phone or GPS more reachable and avoid the sun glare from dash.

let me know how pairing the TPMS sensors go!

Discount tire and Firestone couldn't pair my FRS wheels with my Prius and Toyota quoted me $104. So just transferred my old sensors into the wheels and now I have FRS sensors sitting in my desk drawer.

and did you go with 3mm spacers all around or something different? Just curious what others have done with the FRS setup :D

Only 1 set of 3mm spacers are required for FRS/BRZ wheels, not 2. I forget which one needs the clearance, front or back, but not both.

    I know ;)

its just that the rears dont sit flush with the fenders, so I might get 5mm spacers in the back eventually.

hope you didn't forget about the 56.1 centric ring needed as well!

Guy i bought the rims from had a celica, he gave me his rings. It worked out. I need to figure out fitment of the front center caps now because of the axle. Ill probably get spacers too for the rear eventually so it sits flush. I used spline 12x1.5 lugs.

Where does this plug into? This only apply if you replace the factory radio?
