Women soccer (aka., football outside USA)

that was a great game, not as good as the last one, but if you don't win it all, it's all for naught. congratulations to the american women!

 

Congrats to the ladies team!

I only saw the highlights reel, but it would seem that the ladies kick-ball team is a glittering jewel in a sports landscape that has come to look, feel and smell more like a bus stop restroom in south Alabama.

I'd rather get a colonoscopy than endure a mens kickball match, but it would appear that with the ladies teams you get 90-percent of the athleticism with only ten-percent of the flopping and twitching.

the poor goalie was balling her eyes out after the game. gotta be a tough position.

 

I always thought watching soccer was boring. However these women have changed my mind. That final game was one of the most exciting sporting events I have ever watched. Carli Lloyd's team calls her the "beast". I see why now. The team lead by Lloyd made sports history. I still don't like men's soccer.

 

i feel the same way about golf. finesse over power, it must be a prius thing.
