Replacing the horn.

    Sorry for all the posts, but I've got a few projects I'd like to get done on my new Prius.

    The absolutely worst thing to me about Japanese cars is the horn. can someone recommend a good way to make it sound more like an American car without a lot of work or money?

    cheapest way would be to pick something up on ebay or a salvage yard. there are some grey threads here, but mostly expensive i think.

    I highly recommend the FIAMM horns, linked in the thread above. There is a video with sound clip in the first post.

    Ordered a set of the Fiamm horns the F and the E. Will put them in next week when they get here. Yeah, I hear you about the sound of the horn. Hard for anyone to take notice or take you serious with the OEM wimpy meep meep horn. :(
