I'm considering buying 205/65/15 tires for my Prius because I can get a really good deal on them. Haven't seen anyone else using them though. Anyone here have a any insight on these tires?

I would consider it if they were known brand LRR tires. Be easier for me to decide if I knew the specifics about the tires and also the price. If they're not LRR tires, they may affect your fuel mileage so much it would negate the good price.

A "good deal" doesn't seem to me a worthwhile rational for changing from stock size.

It'll throw the odo off a bit, change the "gearing", increase rolling resistance a bit.

They are Continental Purecontact Tour AS for about $105 for all 4 after rebates. I decided to get the Yoko Avid Ascend in 195/60/15 instead for $150 for all 4. I figure it's worth a few $$ extra to keep the same width, and also have a slightly lower profile tire. I know it will throw off the speedo a couple MPH, but that's ok. By the way, Discount Tire Direct is having an awesome deal on tires right now. Yoko's are $220 off a set of 4 (if you use their CC), Conti's are $230 off.
