new member here, been lurking a while, finally joined the forum. I have a question. What's the best way to find the information on changing a broken lense on a daytime running light led on a 2013 Prius 2? Can't find anything on Youtube. Would the owners manual have anything like that? The led still works but I'm afraid moisture will cause it to malfunction. Will I have to buy the whole led assembly?

I need to deal with this too, after the left side signal ate a rock and let the rain in a few weeks ago. So far I've just drained the water (drilled a small hole through the lens at the bottom) and covered the rock hole with clear packing tape. Other sources were showing module prices slightly over $100.

Think I'm just gonna let mine go until the light stops working, (don't know how long it takes for water to damage an led), then I'll try to figure out how to get to it. I don't really want to take the whole bumper covering off. Hope I can put it on jack stands and get to it from underneath.

Yes, that works. You just need to remove, the front central under panel, and maybe partially disconnect the front corner under panel as well. If you're removing the front corner panel, just disconnect it from the bumper panel. There's a sort-of internal splice, between the front corner panel and the front wheel well liner: 3 bolt heads. Maybe that is best left as-is. In my experience those were royally rusted.

Strange though, the US implementation of "daytime running lights" is very different than Canadian, where it's been imposed for at least a couple of decades. Canadian DRL involves no extra bulbs; it's the high beams, on at reduced intensity.

The light is accessible from underneath. You remove 3 fasteners from the corner cover, leave the larger central undercover in place. You will also leave the corner cover attached to the front of the wheel well liner, and just bend the corner cover down and away to access the area behind the turn signal/DRL .

Yes, this is good, very good. I tried removing that cover-to-cover splice connection, and the #*&'ing bolt head (one of 3) finally sheared off, solid rust. These are the ones that also hold the "spat", just ahead of the front wheels.
