Can I sell a used key fob on Ebay?

    I have a 2007 Prius key fob with a smart key. I don't need it anymore and saw that people were selling them on Ebay for like $80. I was thinking I could sell mine but I wanted to be sure it wasn't like a cell phone where it needed to be unlocked first or something. Anyway, my question is whether I can just sell the key fob as-is or if I need to reformat it or something before I do.
