I must have missed something, what are you actually doing? I initially thought an accident with the first picture, but then the others with everything stripped, and the back passenger side that looked primed.

    Hey everyone!

Recently bought a Gen 3 with the package Three and I'm loving it so much!

Last week I bought the OPT7 LED Kit from Amazon and I have to comment on how amazing these headlights are. They're a great pair for only $99 and way less work than HID. It was fully installed in as little as 10 minutes! image.jpg

The stock projectors do an amazing job with cutoff lines and it looks pretty slick!

I'll keep everyone posted on how they are but here are night shots that show both LED in the low beam and the LED/Halogen combo with the highs on. You can see that the LED has a more bluish tint but it makes everything on the road glow! Awesome upgrade.

Note these were taken on an iPhone, but just tried to make it as realistic as possible.

Let me know what y'all think!

As long as no one was hurt. You can always fix materialistic things, including the prii.
I'm sure the end result of your build will look even better.:)
    can't wait for the transformation.

Adding my new gas door today after having to drill out the rivets that were installed on the original oem gas door from the factory. Luckily a coworker had 2 new rivets big enough to work after i modified them for the reinstall. (lowes and home depot had nothing big enough in a rivet)

    For lovers of carbon fiber....

I've not seen the point of it because (as a motorcycle owner) carbon fiber suffers from UV deterioration faster than most anything else. So, the motorcycle application is weight reduction, but after X time, those carbon fiber parts will need replacement. Doing it just for the "bling" means keeping the bike out of the sun as much as possible.

On cars, I'd expect the problem is worse. How do you manage or does it last about as long as you anticipate keeping the car? Is there stuff you can/must use to extend the life of the CF items exposed to sunlight?

Do they match/exceed OEM light output and performance?
Do they require any "tweaking" so the car isn't confused by them?
Other than appearance, what improvements do they offer over the stock bulbs?

You are giving me an idea not to get a CF hood.
