Its been to the dealer, there is a complaint in with Toyota customer care but I doubt there will be any monetary help from them.
I was just thinking: if you go in with the part you purchase for $750, would they be willing install it, and for how much? Their "good side" (hopefully...) is having the right tools and experience dealing with Prius AC.
im at 127k and it suddenly stopped working. its at the auto air place being diagnosed today ill update later.
I got one-time-only help from Toyota in the form of the part. I had to pay labor. The compressor went out for me at 45k and the replacement had a 1-yr warranty but of course it's lasted longer than that. Fortunately mine had not blown up yet and was only making noise so they didn't have to clean metal out of the system. iPhone ?
