    I have wanted a prius for a long time and finally bit the bullet and bought one on Memorial Day! Pretty excited here! Thankful to find this forum and looking forward to being a member of the community! :)

    I got the impression because of the lower current gas prices, that the Prius was not currently in high demand. I can't imagine choosing a car based on current gas prices...but my gain is others' loss! ;)

    I don't know what it is. I would hope buyers aren't that fickle. What I do see locally: dealerships never advertise Prius, and they are increasingly few and far-between on the lots. Maybe in anticipation of next generation? Not sure. Anyway, you're in good company. :)

    Congratulations on getting a great car. I am one of those folks who want great mpg whether gas is $2.50 or $5.00 a gallon. Enjoy the mpg numbers you will be seeing!
