Many people have assumed that Magnetic Gray was not going to show up this year since it disappeared from one of the Toyota color charts. I spoke with a dealer today who said he has an upcoming allocation with 1 car in "the very rare Magnetic Gray." So, it will show up in May as originally announced! Good luck to those hunting one down
Yeah, just look at the 2007 Camry. It's available in Magnetic Grey. I can't tell the difference btwn that and Phantom Grey Pearl. It's probably more obvious in real life. Hmm, Magnetic Grey isn't even in the brochure for us Canucks.
I like the Phantom grey pearl I would have got one if it was availible then we would have had matching colored toyotas!
Today I received word from my dealer (Pacific Northwest) that they have received allocation of my magnetic grey Prius pkg 5 and it should be arriving in about a month. Woohoo!
oooh. Kinda sad that Toyota Canada does not list Magnetic Grey Pearl as an available colour in their brochure.
It will look something like this.... Very pretty! Would have been my 1st color choice if it had come out sooner.
I'm so excited! I had a black on order but when I saw the Magnetic Grey was coming, I switched. Should arrive within the next few weeks!

I placed an order for a Magnetic Gray package #4 about a week ago. The dealer said it would be about 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. They said it would be the first Magnetic Gray Prius that they have sold. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully I will have a new car in a month or so.... By the way thanks to everyone for posting in these forums. With all of this information and a test drive I was sold on the Prius. I had been considering a Mustang but in this day and age I felt it better to go for a hybrid. B)

CSM isn't going anywhere, or being replaced. The MG will be darker in color than the CSM, more of a graphite than silver.
