Does tint brand matter? Which one Should I get? So far some quotes I received Solar Gard $160 Lifetime Warranty Tint City 3M $149 3 Year Warranty SunTek CXP (Carbon XP) $249 Lifetime Warranty Llumar $169 Lifetime Warranty
I just had the Llumar product installed on my - new to me - 2012 PIP.....I used a company called Sundimmers and they did a great job! I like how my car looks and feels after the tint job. I paid $220. Your quote is considerably lower, so make sure the outfit that gave you the quote is reputable and has a good track record.
I've had different kinds on different vehicles over the years but I now swear by 3M Crystalline, in whatever % you want to get.
I really want that 3M Crystalline, but its not really offered in the Seattle Area. Also the darkest the Crystalline goes is 40%
Thank you for feedback. Getting moved...lol I guess I should change I have a prius under my avatar which is what this tint is for..
Each one is different place. It's around Rancho Cucamonga area. I'm thinking going with 160 Solar Gard. I always see your post and I swear your dog is staring at me...lol btw I have 8 Chow Chows.
I would go for Llumar. They've been around a long time. Go for the metallic or ceramic since they don't fade/change color. The Ceramic is definitely clearer, like wearing sunglasses. I have the metallic on my prius and Ceramic on my M37.
I didn't know there were so many options on tints. I guess I'll be shopping for some ceramic film, I just want a really light tint on my black car. I don't like the super limo look
