how to Check Front Bumper is OEM?

    Search gave me no results, please see if you can help me out.

    I had a minor accident, and had to replace the front bumper.

    The replacement bumper has two indentation (dimples) in the front to drill holes
    for front number plate.
    The Original Bumper which comes with the car had no such dimples.
    I have a feeling the bumper replaced is a aftermarket and not really OEM.
    My logic, I have never ever seen a OEM bumper with two indentation (dimples) and the cars parts probably come from Japan, why would they make bumpers for a region?

    Is there a way for me to check, or someone here who has replaced there bumper see
    this on there's.
    This was replaced by a Toyota certified repair shop with a Toyota dealer..

    They charged me for the OEM Bumper, and I have not got a straight answer from them.

    I believe the OEM bumper has dimples...

    My car which was brand new off the lot 2 weeks ago has the dimples on the front bumper that you are describing.
