The dash lights are blinking. Outside temp says E. Doesn't always turn off. Afraid I may have a problem with the fob key?

the 12 volt battery in the trunk is the cause of most problems...remove it and have it tested, replace if needed, don't buy a used one and DONT charge it if still connected in the car, clean the connections and where the ground wire bolts to the body..good luck

what's crazy is that the car doesn't want to turn all the way off unless I stick the FOb key in the slot and pull it out

sounds like the washer fluid is low...the entire car is tied into the washer fluid...don't fall for the blinker fluid gag..the blinkers run on prayer

In another thread, there was a bad ground connection from the auxiliary battery to the car body.

It's a 2005, could be the battery pack.

Are you speaking of the battery itself?

no worries yet, you need to have the codes read by a dealer, or someone with toyota tech stream.

Take it to the Toyota Dealer to properly diagnose the problem. Then take it to your shop of choice, if you can find one that will work on it for less.
