you can't put shoe polish on a sneaker, but maybe they made the handling and ride better.

Everyone assumes Gen4 is lower but perhaps it is wider than Gen3.

Compare to the Corolla in front, it seems pretty wide.

According to this rendering, the rear gets narrower. Something funny is going on in the rear of the taped up spy pic too. Hmm..

Toyota I think already mentioned it's slightly larger on the inside than the gen3. I think they said the cabin area and cargo are a little bit larger

Cargo area should be quite a bit larger then previous gen. 3, since the battery will be fitted under the rear seats instead of the trunk .

My goodness, I'll search for it. It was mentioned less than a year ago but there's so much hints on the info out there now.....

Maybe they waited so long because they wanted to include all their new goodies such as the brand new adaptive led headlights (driving with high beam all the time without dazzling anybody), road sign recognition, all new improved park assist with 360° view, blind spot detection, new Improved pre crash system , automatic braking to avoid hitting pedestrians and so on .

I think the Prius is growing a tail. It's at an awkward stage ;)

Oh! and please more wheel choices,

I have seen 4 different patterns in the Corolla, 3 in the picture below and the 4th I believe is wheel cover.

Hybridcars (Jason Siu) is calling it a 2016 Prius. From link below, I hope it is not as squared off in the rear as the left end of the spoiler indicates. Looks bit like something from the NHRA with that much squareness in rear.
Could be a decoy. Lot of black (tape?) in that area.

Now that the windshield 'angles' (sweeps?) up from the hoodline, appears they brought the roof apex forward a bit, more like gen2 Prius.

Compare it with Hyundai photos. scroll down. Hyundai looks very different from the rear: Door sills sweep up towards rear with Toyota unlike Hyundai.

agreed, i don't like the square look, but the details underneath may make it look completely different.

As I look at the BraveNewCar.com depiction above, I am not "turned-off," or offended, but neither am I so excited that I feel I GOT TO HAVE A COPY. Obviously, this may not be any closer to the final design that any of the other depictions we have seen, but is this more youthful? This is what we waited months for?

Then the test mule, while impossible to tell, it looks more like the current Prius than we have been led to expect.

Which may not be all bad. I like the size and shape of the G3. I would have been happy if the G4 was basically a modest update of the G3 externally, will the latest technology, motor-generators, handling and improved interior materials.

    Your thoughts?

I am anxious to see a non-camouflaged interior. I am not sure if I am in the majority or minority, but I like the space age look of the Gen 3 "flying buttress" console and the gauges up near the center of the dash (like I have said before, it feeds my inner sci-fi geek)…not sure how I am going to feel about the inside *IF* it is going to like every other interior…I will have to see it first before I develop an opinion…

    but…

since Darth Prue only has 60K miles on her, I am in no hurry to put her out to pasture...
