I just purchased a new 2013 Prius-C this past weekend and am planning to replace the stock steel wheels with something nicer. To save some $, I will be keeping the stock 15" Goodyear tires. I really like the look and design of the Konig Turn One. Does anyone have these installed on their car? If so, have you experienced any issues with these wheels?

I'm not familiar with the design but I'd suggest trying to find out their weight. You don't really want a 20lb 15' wheel unless you really have your heart set on it :D

The main points to aftermarket wheels after looks is the weight and width.Go to tirerack.com to look at wheels in the wheels segment concentrating on the weight listed as a catagory. You should choose a wheel that is lighter than the OEM and as wide rim as that allows. And be careful about wider tires as they will weigh more and cut your mpg an acceleration.

    Wheel Weight: 18.9lbs
    Size: 16 x 7
    Offset: +42mm
    Tire Size: 195/50/16
    Tire Pressure Monitors: Perfect fit!
Difference felt in ride quality: Definitely firmer
Price Paid: $1400 mounted with new Falken Ziex ze-912 (darned import fees for Canadians)
    Fitment Issues: None whatsoever.

Couldn't be happier with how they look! I wanted to go for the subcompact hatch Rally car look - and I think these rims fit that image quite well. I haven't noticed any real detriment to milage, but then; I haven't done any official math yet. Rhino roof rack and Weather Tech mats are on the way. Will post pics when they come in! Looking at doing the HID/White LED replacement and a front strut bar for future mods.

Let me know what you guys think, cheers!

Yeah I'm coming to that realization. I WILL NOT run camber to fit wheels. And to run nicely stretched tires on a 17 I need 205/40 which is only moderately stretched on an 8.5. 17x8.5 is pretty rare unless you rebarrel some 3pc wheels (heavy and VERY expensive). Or 17x8.5 heavy replica (fake) wheels with offset in the 15 range. (Too aggressive/much poke without camber) I've found rpf1's in 17x8.5 and even with higher offset but they're only available in 5x114.3... so if I ran those with wheel adapters I'm again lowering the offset by about 20mm and gaining the rotational mass I was trying to save with the rpf1's. Very aggravating. My old scion xb fit up to 9" wide very easily and fit some pretty poke tastic offsets with ease. My last wheels weer heavy, crappy bbs reps. 17x8.5 30 offset with a 10mm hub spacer in the rear they fit PERFECT.

Hey, I live in SoCal as well. I love those wheels and am looking to buy some, but I can't find those exact ones in the price range you specified. Were they on sale when you bought them? What shop did you buy them from, and is it possible for me to have them swap out the tires off of my stock rims that I have now? I just picked up a 2015 Prius C One and am doing some research for some new wheels.

Drag wheels are available lots of places. They're a decently built fake line of wheels. Cheap too. Regularly on ebay for less than 400 shipped for four. And yes any shop can/should swap the tires for you. (for the price of Mount and balance. $7 to $15 per wheel)

I was inspired by the look of Simonquani's rims and went ahead & ordered a set from (dont laugh) ebay. I'll post pics once I have them installed.

    Wheel Brand Vision
    Wheel Model Cross
    Wheel Weight Not Available
    Size15x6.5
    Offset 38MM
    Tire Size STOCK
Tire Pressure Monitors *I hope they work
Difference felt in ride quality *will report soon
Price Paid $378 just for the rims
    Fitment Issues *none I hope
    MPG Impact: *will report soon

Got my new rims installed today. For those who are wondering... yes, 15x6.5" rims will fit in the stock 175/65x15 tires.

So just purchased some trd wheels. Specifically 16x7 33 offset and pictured below. My question is, I'm lowered on DF210 and need some tires that won't rub or need me to roll fenders. Any suggestions? My brother has a pair of new 205/45. Not sure how those would fit. [IMG][/IMG]

I am running 16x7 with 45mm offset with 205/50. They rubbed so I added a 10mm spacer which makes it a 35mm offset effectively. You should be fine with 205/45. I am lowered with NF210 but have a lot of weight in sound deadening and stereo so riding a little lower than typical NF.

Also, those wheels are kick nice person.

Well I am 3 fill-ups in and my MPG has been flat. No improvement on no big loss. I think going from no tread to new tread is the biggest change. I put 40 lbs pressure in the new tires and might need to go higher to get my MPG up. I drive all LA Freeways with few turns. So I will not be at risk of needing better cornering etc...
