Yeah, but they crushed all the EV1's, and I don't want to drive anything as big as a RAV4, and the tzero (which is the car I really want) costs, what? $200,000? and I don't want one that badly. I'd probably pay $100,000 for a tzero though, if I could get routine service and repairs done at a local dealership.

I think the best of both worlds would be a 50-mile-EV-range plug-in hybrid. Because an EV1 would not have gotten me from here to Seattle.

Did they ever give any official reason why they crushed the EV1's, rather than allowing the leasees to buy them?

 

I love to to kill all sound so that I can hear the 'Silence'.The down side is when the engine comes on after people have been awed by the 'Silence'. That makes me a mere mortal again.
