I have a 2011 Prius II, base model. The head unit does have controls for satellite, but apparently an additional item is needed before it week work. I'm still confused as to what specifically I need to buy. Overall I would love to be able to add Bluetooth capabilities to link with my Android , along with the satellite radio. I'm not really interested in a Nav system or DVD or backup camera...just satellite radio and Bluetooth. I would like to keep my dash looking as much OEM as possible, and I would like to be able to continue to use my steering wheel controls. Does anyone have any suggestions on what is the next way to do this? Sirius and Crutchfield both had systems that say they will work with every genIII year except 2011 for some reason.
I believe you need these two devices to make satellite radio work with your existing head unit: 86180-0W032 - XM Receiver. Costs close to $200 new. Consider a used one. PT546-47100 - Fit Kit. $14.47 from Amazon For Bluetooth, you need the factory Blu Logic Hands Free Unit PT923-00111 $56.35 from here: PT923-00111 | Toyota OEM Parts | BLU LOGIC HANDS FREE SYSTEM SMALL BUTTON | Genuine Toyota
