I just rescued a 2005 base from the baking florida sun, sat for an unknown amount of time,paint shot,steering wheel cover falling apart both easy to fix so I was wondering if there is a plastic replacement screen for the MFD and where to get it.... Jump started the car,did some stop and go's to get the main battery to show a charge added some fresh gas then drove it 82 miles home..saying 52.2 MPG battery fully charged so I think its worth fixing the cosmetics.
I am also interested in plastic replacement for the MFD, if possible. Mine got scratched when I was moving a piece of very long furniture inside the car.
Just ran a quick search through the ole google box and found that ebay has a ton of MFDs ranging around $150-300. Shouldn't be too hard to grab one compatible with your gen and swap it in. Toyota Prius Screen: Parts & Accessories | eBay
a local place has them for 150 so Im going to sell this one on e bay for parts, maybe it will bring 50 or 75
There's a place called AutoBeYours that may have used MFDs in stock. I think they do repairs on them, as well
