Yesterday I went to a Nissan dealership for buying a used 2012 Prius. he said the model is 2012 Prius One but I doubt..It has Cruise Control which I have read that doesn't come in Prius One. Can anyone help in finding the model of a Prius..Can VIN provide the model information?
Prius 1 didn't exist for gen 3, and cruise did come with prius 1, however priusC 1 didn't have cruise.

Hi JC91106...I am talking about Gen 3 Prius One..Intended solely for fleets but Retailed by some Dealers in California.I heard it doesn't come with Cruise Control. The Car that Dealer has shown me has Cruise Control..Navigation..Key less entry on all doors.
Now that we have some useful information, we can help you. You don't mention a solar roof so I will presume it doesn't have one. It is a Three-NAV if it has cloth seats. It is a Four-NAV if it has leather or softex seats. It is a Five-NAV if it has the leather/softex seats AND 17" wheels and foglights. If the dealer has it priced as a One or a Two then don't enlighten him as the price may be below market.

How much are they asking? I just bought a 2012 with about 20k miles for 17. My situation was similar... The dealer didn't really know much about it. Had it listed for 19.5 and took 17. YOGA Tablet 2-1050F ?
I just got a 2014 Prius III (Nav) Lift-back from a BMW dealer. The dealer said that they do not sell Toyota and do not have any idea about the car. I was little skeptical as it had 17,500 miles on it in just 8 months, but I took a plunge as it was fully covered under Toyota warranty. The car was registered to the last owner in October 2014(DMV record). The car was listed for 19,900 but i brought him down 18,100 . The car is running fine as of now. Is is a good deal or I could have got better?
Yes, I looked at the Carfax report. It was single owner and was registered to one person according to the DMV record. It has all the Prius III features. How else can I check if it was a fleet or not?
