I am planning on purchasing a 2015 Prius Two in a few weeks. It comes standard with a backup camera, but I want to replace the radio and screen with a fancy after market GPS. The GPS has an RCA input connector for a backup camera and I was wondering whether the factory installed backup camera will be compatible with this. Does anybody know what connector the 2015 factory backup camera uses (or the factory camera of an earlier Gen III model, which is presumably the same). If it's not a standard RCA connector (which I'm not expecting), does anybody know of an adapter that will convert the factory backup camera connector to an RCA connector that I can plug into the after market GPS? Thanks a ton, Jonas
Haven't tried this yet but it looks like what you would need. Back Up Camera Video Adapter Harness for Toyota Subaru Scion Plug and Play | eBay
That harness is meant to connect a 3rd party camera to the OEM head unit. You can see an RCA plug, but quite a bit more too. The 'more' is power related
The RCA plug from the OEM backup camera plugged right into my aftermarket stereo without any problem. It only got tricky when I was trying to get the backup signal and the steering wheel controls connected. This image from the above ebay link is relevant.

Thank you for your thoughts, guys. I decided to make my own harness to retain the factory rear view camera. See here: Installing aftermarket in-dash GPS unit in a 2015 Prius Two | PriusChat
